Here, beside this stream,
kneel. With beads and vase
and the faith of a fern,
unseal the mysterious mirth
of murmuring creek,
elixir of brook.
Beside un-still waters,
these woods echo worship.
Stay and do
likewise. Pray
for the peace to see
the life of trees
and stream and breeze
that surrounds us:
such lush, fluid hymns;
such verdant hosannas.
