Sound
merely a vibration as is sight.
Apperceived by one of the senses
by the human ears or any ears.
But a sound heard within
is a voice of conscience
the sway of the God within
the resonance of Self.
Have you ever heard
the lulling murmur of stillness
the echo of your inner voice
guiding you what to do
or even more notably
what not to do?
Ego, soul, collective unconscious
anima, animus
archetypal images and all the rest of it
the One who guides us
from some distant plane of existence
where all feeling, all senses originate
and where all about us returns.
Have you ever heard the sound of stillness?
