Andrea Potos is the author of nine poetry collections, incuding Mothershell (Kelsay Books), A Stone to Carry Home (Salmon Poetry), Arrows of Light (Iris Press), An Ink Like Early Twilight (Salmon Poetry), We Lit the Lamps Ourselves (Salmon Poetry) and Yaya’s Cloth (Iris Press), and others. A new collection of poems Her Joy Becomes was published by Fernwood Press in 2022. Andrea has received four Outstanding Achievement Awards in Poetry from the Wisconsin Library Association and the William Stafford Prize in Poetry. Her poems are featured widely in print and online. She lives in Madison, Wisconsin.
The Braided Way is a framework to see every faith tradition as a strand, braided into a larger whole of spiritual awareness. In the Braided Way, combining spiritual practice from various faiths allow us to explore sacred experience and wonder in forms that resonate with our personal spiritual needs and sacred intuitions. In today’s culture, many people shun religious dogma, but yearn for spiritual connection. The Braided Way allows the ceremonies and practices of multiple faiths to be available without the confinements of cultural dogma.
