Another Ghost Session
by Larry Thacker
This is not the first, the meridian, or last
ghost verse written or read, by me or you,
probably. It simply is, and floats
about the whitespace, does as it will,
the same as you and I wish we might,
as much set in motion by the unseen
as any object self-acknowledges. It waits,
thinned among nearly see-through pages,
swept up by passing interest one moment,
shut out from light by another hand,
all the while speaking out as plainly
as silence permits, as the spirit dictates.
