How to describe that which no one, but you, has experienced? Say, for example, a new primary color you have seen through a unique experience, from, maybe, a bump on the head? There is no word or definition you can use. You can only tell us what it is not–like red, blue or yellow. Nor can you say it is like a secondary color. These colors have names comprehensible to all of us and are defined so we can utilize their meaning in practical conversation. We are able to label them when we experience them and pass on their meaning when we communicate with others. You might give your new color a name, say, like blev or goob, but only you will know what it looks like.
How do you describe something beyond the limits of definition? That you are beyond the limits of definition? You can only say “I am.” Somehow you exist when all of your ego, your self-definition, has been stripped away? What do you call your infinite being? Might you call that which you discovered you are… God?
“Surely,” you might say, “that’s too much responsibility. I can’t be God! If I’m God, then everyone must be God and share that responsibility. And all animals, trees, plants… everything must be God. Then God must be infinite!”
Well, why not? Why wouldn’t God be everything? Why wouldn’t God be the laws of nature, the processes of evolution, the Big Bang, you? Why wouldn’t God be, like you, beyond the limits of definition, especially if God is you and you are God, along with everything else?
You might ask, “Now that I know that, what do I do?”
Keep on living your life. Just remember we are all God. We are one. Your neighbor is you. Your enemy is you; he or she just doesn’t know it. You might try to explain that to him or her. Is it even up to you to take that responsibility? The decision is yours. That decision could be quite dangerous, possibly fatal. Others have made that decision throughout history and have died for it. Know what you know. Those who have experienced this oneness do not need to wear symbols of their piety for all to see. We simply are.

thank you
I love this. I left a five star review, but my computer is messing up and put 4 1/2! It’s definitely five stars. I agree with you totally and you put it brilliantly. Thanks.
Good stuff uncle
I like Annaka Harris thoughts of consciousness as a fundamental property of the universe to use as a lens in thinking about this topic.
