Padma Venkatraman is an award-winning author. Her three novels, published in the Young Adult category, are A Time to Dance, Island’s End and Climbing the Stairs. She is an oceanographer and has worked as chief scientist on oceanographic ships, spent time under the sea, directed a school, and lived in five countries.
